Sinopse:
Oliver Queen é um bilionário playboy de Starling City que foi dado como morto após sofrer um acidente de barco que acabou matando seu pai e sua amante Sara Lance ( irmã de sua namorada Laurel Lance ) e acabou indo parar numa ilha deserta, conhecida como Lian Yu, onde ficou preso durante cinco anos tentando sobreviver. Após cinco anos, Oliver é resgatado e consegue voltar para sua cidade natal, onde revê sua mãe Moira, sua irmã Thea e seu melhor amigo Tommy Merlyn, além de tentar se reconciliar com sua ex-namorada Laurel. Porém, Oliver voltou completamente mudado, não era mais o playboy mimado e arrogante de antes, estava determinado a fazer justiça e combater o crime e a corrupção que tomam conta das ruas de Starling City. Para isso, Oliver veste um capuz e usa suas habilidades no arco e flecha para caçar os criminosos de Starling City durante a noite, usando meios violentos para combater o crime ( e muitas vezes, matá-los ). Enquanto Oliver combate o crime pela cidade com a ajuda de seu guarda-costas John Diggle e da hacker Felicity Smoak, chamando a atenção das autoridades, ao mesmo tempo em que tenta se adaptar à sua nova vida na cidade e na empresa de seu pai, as Indústrias Queen, Oliver descobre que há uma conspiração acontecendo com o objetivo de destruir os Glades ( a área mais pobre da cidade e que está tomada pela criminalidade ), cujo mentor também é perito no arco e flecha. Enquanto isso, nos flashbacks que mostram os anos que Oliver passou na ilha, Oliver aprende a sobreviver aos poucos na ilha enquanto um mercenário chamado Slade Wilson ensina Oliver a lutar, enquanto a jovem Shado lhe ensina as habilidades no arco e flecha. Com a ajuda deles, Oliver terá que enfrentar um grupo de mercenários liderados por Edward Fyers.
Synopsis:
Oliver Queen is a playboy billionaire from Starling City who suffers a shipwrecking that kills his father and his lover Sara Lance ( sister of his girlfriend Laurel Lance ), leading him on a desert island, known as Lian Yu, where he was trapped for five years trying to survive. After five years, Oliver is rescued and manages to return to his hometown, where he is reunited with his mother Moira, his sister Thea and his best friend Tommy Merlyn, and tries to reconcile with his ex-girlfriend Laurel. However, Oliver is a changed man now, no longer the spoiled and arrogant playboy he was before, now he was engaged to make justice and fight against crime and the corruption that overrun Starling City. To do that, Oliver wears a hood and uses his bow and arrow skills to hunt the criminals of Starling City at night, using violent methods to fight crime ( and often kill them ). While Oliver fights crime around town with the help of his bodyguard John Diggle and hacker Felicity Smoak, catching the attention of the authorities as he tries to adapt to his new life in the city and his father’s company, the Queen Industries, Oliver learns that there’s a conspiracy with the goal to destroy the Glades ( the poorest area in town and taken over by criminality ), whose mentor is also an expert in archery. Meanwhile, in flashbacks that show Oliver’s years spent on the island, Oliver learns how to survive on the island while another survivor named Slade Wilson teaches Oliver to fight and young Shado teaches him the skills in the bow and arrow. With their help, Oliver will face a group of mercenaries led by Edward Fyers.
