Sinopse:

Após trazer a paz entre os Nove Reinos ( e sua participação na Batalha de Nova York ), o poderoso Thor está prestes a se tornar o sucessor de Odin no trono de Asgard. Mas após se reencontrar com a jovem Jane Foster na Terra, Thor descobre que terá que enfrentar uma nova ameaça: os Elfos Negros, liderados por Malekith, que planeja mergulhar o universo nas trevas através de um artefato poderoso conhecido como Éter. Para derrotar Malekith e seu exército, Thor precisará da ajuda de seu velho irmão e inimigo, Loki, para salvar os Nove Reinos antes que Malekith absorva o poder do Éter.

Synopsis:

After bringing peace between the Nine Realms ( and the Battle of New York ), the mighty Thor is about to be the Odin’s successor in the throne of Asgard. But after meeting again with Jane Foster on Earth, Thor learns that he has to face a new enemy: the Dark Elves, led by Malekith, who plans to plunge the universe into darkness through the powerful artifact Eter. To defeat Malekith’s army, Thor needs the help from his old brother and nemesis, Loki, to save the Nine Realms before Malekith can absorb Eter’s powers.
